In the beginning of 2006 Sami Halminen, Janne Glad and Janne Similä decided to start a group that would have something genuinely original to give to the current music-scene. The product of that idea was Blue Frequency.

Being together only for six months they managed to record their first demo INVISIBLE ME. Next year it was time to step it up a notch so the group started a collaboration with a local record label MINORTONE ENTERTAINMENT and ARE YOU AMUSED? promo saw the light of day in 2007. With good reviews the group got some publicity in the Oulu region.

But in 2008 the group had to suffer a change in the line-up when Similä gave his post to Henkka Meripaasi and to stir things up a little more Matti Urhonen jumped into the mix. With a renewed crew Blue Frequency started to work on a full-lenght album for Minortone and EMOTION PICTURES was released in March 2010.
